The Network -
The network is serviced by
a mix of Cisco & HP Managed Gigabit Switches. The core
routers take feeds from multiple diverse upstream
providers and utilise multiple peering arrangements.
This multihomed setup allows us to provide low latency
high availability solutions for mission critical
deployments. In the event one link fails, traffic is
automatically re-routed to prevent downtime to customer
services.
 The
Datacentre
The data centres we use have been designed and built to
an exceptionally high specification. They feature world
class resilient infrastructure, including multiple
levels of 24/7 security, redundant high-capacity power
supplies, VESDA fire protection, and generator backup.
Our primary site is a newly built facility based in
Sittingbourne, Kent (picture right). We are located ten
minutes from this site and offer 24x7x365 onsite
response SLAs for mission critical service deployments.
The Power
The datacentres guarantee all customers a redundant
high-capacity, stable and reliable power supply, with
easy scalable expansion in the future. Power is isolated
between racks and maintained indefinite. The datacentres
use high specification UPS units to maintain the entire
building power should the mains grid fail and high
specification on-site generators which can deal with
both customer and plant load whilst recharging the UPS.
